EVO Red pump gas/race gas dyno numbers.

As some of you have been following, Trent's car has run a best of 10.72 at 129 mph on 101 octane with the new EVO Red turbo. Trent has actually been running the car for well over a month and loves the turbo.

He asked me to touch up the tune and see how much power we could make today on straight 93 octane. The results are stellar. The most power we've made on the Green, even on race gas, has been in the 440 whp range at over 30 psi of boost. We matched that today on straight 93 octane. Peak boost hit 30 psi.

This is the dyno sheet from today of Trent's car.

BR 2 liter
BR Stage 3 head
HKS DLI2
BR double pumper
1000 cc injectors
BR ported exhaust manifold
FP Red turbo
BR 3" turbo back
AEM EMS
Exedy triple disc
BR battery kit
BR upper and lower 2.5" i/c pipes
BR ported intake
BR 65 mm throttle body

This is a full build up in other words. The car previously ran 10.0 at 142 mph on a GT35r kit. The car now has the stock appearing red on it.

Great results as can be seen by the dyno sheet. Peak boost was 30.0 psi. Dyno'd on Shell 93 octane fuel. AFR's mid 11's.

We are going to put some race gas in it now and see what it will make on race gas.

There is NO doubt in my mind that this turbo is the real deal, this much power in a bolt on stock appearing turbo is amazing.

I think we all want to see how it will perform on a car with stock ECU, pump gas, milder cams, etc....a more real world kind of EVO like a lot of Greens are mounted on. But I am sure in time we will all get the info we want. This thing initially looks awesome and I cant wait to see how far people can take this thing.

The turbo was changed because at the beginning of the year Trent wanted the money from the kit for another "project" and decided to take this year off from racing the car........that lasted about a month

turboevo8, call us and order a turbo, bolt it on and stop by, I'll be glad to tune it and we can post the numbers up for everyone to see.

If you run this turbo on the combination you have listed above you can expect it to make a hell of a lot less power. A LARGE green build on our dyno on a reflashed ECU and 93 octane will make 340 whp, that's a good one. Figure adding the Red might let me get another 20-30, if I'm lucky.

so are you saying a car with a red, basic bolt ons, and stock ecu would probably see around 360ish on your dyno?

Nice numbers Dave... your tuning abilities continue to astound the Evo community . What cams is Trent running with the Red?

dave are you talking just a straight up swap from a stock 16g and stock setup to an FPred and a reflash an pump will make 340?

Umm I kinda doubt that since trents car only made 407 on pump with a decent tune on the red....and he is a full build.
