Just got back from Capitol. First time for me at that track. Only got 2 runs in but pretty please with how I ran today for whats on the car, or should I say whats NOT on the car.
My second run I missed 4th.
All I have done to the car is a full TBE, and IC pipes. And I had mike give me a 2step and eliminate the boost cut last night. On 20psi.

EDIT #2- this is not my RS, this is my flat black 04.

 

An 04 on pump gas, no tune, and stock boost would not trap that high under any circumstance, so my guess is it's more than 20psi.

 

its an 05 turbo. and it is 20-20.5 psi holding.

 

It can't "hold" that much boost unless the boost system is modified or the "non-tune" also includes modified boost tables. Sorry, but the stock boost system hits a PEAK of 19.5 psi and tapers to 16psi, so "holding" 20-20.5psi is not possible unless something has been changed.

Also, having a different turbo is a mod...

 

Well then Mike must have done something else when he was messing with it last night. He said he couldnt do much because my ECU was locked. and yes you would be correct, it is a mod, i also forgot i had a ported and polished ex. manifold. and a mbc which is why i was running 20.

Yes i forgot. It came with the car so its not something I remember when I name what Iv done. And the mbc becuase i said it was at 20, kinda speaks for itself.

To:
- TBE
- IC Pipes
- Ported/polished exhaust manifold
- 10.5 hotside
- MBC
- 90% chance it actually is tuned

 

ok. ill have you proof read my next post. and like i just said, the ECU was locked so I couldnt get it tuned, and when I said the boost was set at 20, hmmm, never mind, i dont even feel like getting into this **** again. I posted my times, that was the point of the thread.

 

 

If it's locked, then it's tuned. It doesn't get locked randomly.

The point of the thread was your times and that you accomplished them with so few mods - that's why you kept pointing it out and even used ALL CAPS to say it was not tuned when it actually is tuned.

There's nothing to get into with me. You lied, you got punked, and now you're pretending like you "forgot" more than half your mods.

For all the mods listed, the times and traps are "ok." Good job.
