sweet on stock turbo

 

You might want to make a little correction on this. I think you mean a Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump. Someone might get the wrong idea and shop for a 255hp pump which would be a 'downgrade' from even the stock pump.

And congrats!

 

AMS I noticed that you mentioned that the turbo is not ported, are the exhaust manifold and o2 housing unported also?

Updates?
We made a new lower IC pipe and got her back on the dyno. A little more E-manage tweeking and some race fuel netted us 390whp and 380ft-lbs of torque. That was the best HP run but I pulled consistant mid to high 380's all night long. I am squeezing that little turbo to death! The only major things left do to are a new upper intercooler pipe and intake manifold. I think it will be very hard to squeeze 400whp out of it. I'd like to go to the track tomorrow but I have to finish a mag. article that's due monday. maybe later in the week.

Are you guys going to try any water injection on that beast? It's just like cheap higher octane gas anyway so what the heck.

 

Very impressive AMS. By the way how much boost did u run on the stock turbo to get 390whp? Did u run the 390whp on the track or not yet?

 

they haven't ran with the 390whp setup yet... nor with the current 395whp!! yup, they upped it again with some more tweaking..

it'd be sweet if they could get a 400whp dyno with the stock turbo and no spray!

 

I think Teamdomokun needs to learn how to drive.
