First time out on my BR3065
Info about the conditions:
Pump gas, the car wouldn't pass 22psi ( i am changing to ebc this saturday bc mbc is not that consistent), ran on my winter tires, and the car was weighting with me in 3404 pounds... Always full lift shifts...
1. First run i didnt launch the car. Of course i bogged of the line, saw what lag means and then went... Here i saw that i only had 20-21 psi of boost and the car was knocking in 4th slightly...
rt 1.081
60ft 2.181
330ft 5.716
1/8 8.471
mph 89.85
1000ft 10.812
1/4 12.761
mph 114.68
No video
2. Second run i decided to raise the boost on my mbc targeting my 23psi tuned, however again i didn't see more than 22psi... Launched at 6100rpm... The car span but again i was knocking in 4th... Another mistake i was changing gears way to soon for my powerband since now i keep making power all the way up to 7800rpm...

1000ft 10.204
1/4 12.14
mph 114.81
3. I tried to figure out why the car was knocking in 4th gear only and actually was feeling very "tight" like holding back... Lowered the 2-step to 5900rpm to lessen wheel spin but actually i spinned even more... i also tried to keep my gearchanges more but i kept hitting the rev limiter...

1000ft 10.17
1/4 12.102
mph 115.05
4. Last run of the day. Lowered my rev limiter even more to 5700rpm but actually i spinned even more this time, bouncing the rev limiter for quite some time... Still so and so launch with a bad 1.85 60ft and maybe knocking in 4th again... My battery went on my laptop so i couldn't even see what was wrong...

I have to say that the car definitely feels faster than before but i had to solve these issues i had. Two things probably happened... The car had less load than tuned at the track thus reading lower load cells with too much timing and/or the Exxon gas that i had in the car was ****ty...
I expect much higher traps on pump when i resolve these small issues plus i definitely need other track tires than my SP Winters... Just from the 60ft if i had my usual low 1.70s the car would be in the 11s easily...
More to come when i find time for the track again...

I think your traction issues stem more from overheating the tires. What was the delay between runs? Do you perform a burn out?
Play with the tire pressures a little. You will be suprised at how much a difference it makes.

Its Etown...
Actually where was plenty of time between runs but i guess the track temp was raising throughout the day...
No i dont do a burnout... maybe i should have done one but at that point i was trying to figure out the 4th gear knock... from my frustration i didnt even lowered my tire pressure... lol....
Sticky tires will be ordered soon plus i have another 60-70 pounds to remove from the car without even trying. Still have full interior, both crash beams, trank cage, etc...
i am sure that next time will be better... I only have 23 drag passes since i bought the car so i am still a rookie....
