ive been having nothing but problems too just went to the track 2 days ago car spins right towards the wall not fun at all i have a vid of the first pass.. launched almost hit wall slammed brakes and went 10.4 @ 154 then did it again almost hit wall and went 9.7 151 missing 4th gear that time and almost crashing.. heres a vid of the 10.4 pass

Congrats Paul, the motor is holding fine!!! I'm having the same problem, couldn't hold the car straight. The driver is telling me that my car alignment isn't wright, but I really don't think that is the problem. If you find something and don't mind sharing it please post it in here or PM me.

Hey Brandon, my friend was at the track when ur car ran, hes like yo that car makin some serious power, he said ur Evo launched like a mustang, pull 3rd gear like a supra lol car was all ova the place. Props for TTX for buildin a sick machine and u for drivin the bleep out of that car. When u get that car goin straight u will see some serious numbers Brandon.

 

The staging brake seems to be working well.. Just need to get the chassis sorted out.. Good luck!!

One quick question. Are you marking your tires? Are you spinning the tires on the rims? The only reason i ask i had similar issues the day i went to the track i checked because i was looking at the wall also. Turns out i spun two tires on the rims.

 

We think we maybe spinning them on the wheels. They are going to get screwed down to be safe.

 

a simple shoe polish mark will let you know if it is indeed spinning on the rim.. also, lucas please post your timeslip info in the fastest 2008 thread.. Thanks!!
