No he has the Driven Innovations manifold on right now if I remember correctly. By the way, Congrats Paul!! You'll get it her done and into the 8s very shortly once you get it all dialed in. The car looks awesome.

Call and I will let you talk to the guy that assembled it as long as you keep it brief.

Its a standard VIII/IX hybrid that doesnt even have cryo'd or rem'd gears. OEM parts, Redline lightweight shockproof in the trans, and Diaqueen LSD in the case and rear end. Stock 04 helical LSD front, and 05 rear.

We dont keep secrets when they are that easy.

That covered, please try to keep this thread about what it was originally and that is suspension. We can talk about Paul's tranny in a new one if you would like.

Just a question for all but at what point do you do no longer gain an advantage with lower tire pressure to help absorb shock load whilst still avoiding the dreaded spin?

How much psi do you run in your slicks? How about compared to cars like Evil Eagle or Shep?

I'm guessing the happy medium of coming out hard w/ control may come by way of actually making the car work less and essentially leaving a bit softer/smoother.

Just thinking out loud

I just watched your video and I have a couple thoughts. I think your rear is squatting too much. I think your on the right track by stiffing that up. It also looks like the car likes to point to the left when it gets loose. You might want to try an adjustable rear anti-sway bar that you can add a slight bit of preload to help keep the car straight. I've never tried one on a awd car, but I'm sure it would work. In the video you don't have a good shot at the front of the car, so I can really add anything there. Also, what rpm/boost are you launching at, and what are you shifting at?

Paul it wouldn't hurt to try out a rear adj sway bar & endlinks my cusco setup wasn't that costly at all. Suspension could possibly be what could help keep that car straight so I think your heading in the right direction & thinking. Just damn that thing is a monster

Damn that car can move. It'll definitely be in the 8's if you get her to stay straight.

I'm not really talking about an adjustable sway bar with endlinks. I'm talking about what is usually called an anti-roll bar. If you look under any real drag car that is running in the single digits, you will see one. It will only allow the rear to go straight up and down so there will be equal pressure on the rear tires. It will also allow you to add preload to keep the car going straight if it seems to always pull to one direction. In my opinion, suspension/chassis setup is definetly what is keeping Paul out of the 8's.

Paul thats called Too much power and as I can see the car is pretty light. With the AEM if you are using the AEM Boost Controler via your Ecu you can controlled your boost with the Ecu try putting the Boost by car speed From 0-30 Mgh Try 20-25 psi and from30+ let the beast realease. Just my 2 cents Hope you can consider my opinion ProccoEvo is not easy to handle but we have work with it a lot so I can drive and control the car better. Take your car to a good Alignment place and if you can balance it with you in it do it. Alignment is very important trust me just want to help you out. Let me Know what you did anything I can help you Pm me take care.Your car should be 8 sec already !!!
