As far as beating supercars, its just the fact that you can say you did it, its fun because most of them dont expect to be beaten, some give you the thumbs up and a lot make excuses like "oh this is my weekend car" or "I just got it and I cant drive it" even though they are paddle shifters lol
btw way to bring this back from the dead lol

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish here . And I will apologize if I offend anyone here but for the longest time I cannot seem to find an answer and maybe someone can enlighten me. Owning a super car is not about how fast it can go in 1/4 of a mile. What is the satisfaction of beating a super car that is a few tenths of a sec slower reaching the 1/4 mile mark? Maybe the satisfaction is about laughing at those suckers who spent 200K on a super car get beat by a 40K evo with 30K of mods in it. IMO people should compare stock vs stock instead of stock vs mod. The same analogy goes anyone can beat up Mohammad Ali with his hands tie behind his back. What is the point? What happens when the super car owner throw in a quad turbo system putting out 2000hp doing 8 sec to the 1/4 mile and you are going 12 sec?? What does that all mean? I don't get it. Driving an Evo and driving a super car is a night and day difference. Driving a super car is all about the driving experience and not about how fast it can go to cover that 1/4 mile. I owned a Evo 8 and a currently owner of a Evo X. I also own M3, 911, R35GTR, Ferrari, Lamborghini.

Beating a Ferrari with a 30K Evo and 6K in mods sir, maybe you have too much money to understand that 30K in an Evo will be an easy 9 Second car, 6K is all I would need for a High 10 Second car, more then enough to be streetable, balanced, handle well. Post some pics of your cars, what kind of Lamborghini?

I also had a F430 owner who gave me a ride in his car and I was really impressed, it was great and it sounded beautiful, I asked him if he wanted a ride in my car, he nearly pissed his pants with a 1-2 pull...the car was on 110 octane at the time, he's thinking of getting an FPRed Evo as a daily now
back in the day, my 3rd pass ever with the EVO since i bought it, i raced a Dodge Viper, the first generation!

I raced a zr-1 at the track yesterday. It beat me the 1st time 11.9 to 16.1 or something( I botched the launch so drove down the track). She then lined up again with me and I went 11.2@135.9 to her 11.7@126. I really liked those things!

I like this thread! lol I understand what you guy's are arguing about and i can agree with both to a certain extent. I real life, A 25k Evo with 10k in mod's=high 10sec car. 200k-300k super car being beat=funny,enjoyable,a good story and some respect. I LOVE Evo's and everything about them! but i also know that some of the best car's in the world fall under the category of Ferrari type car's. My fav's are the Ferrari F150GT,FXX,all GTR's Lotus 2eleven and Lotus Elise because of they're over all balance. The thing is that Evo's are at about 40% of they're overall potential. Supercar's on the other hand are way closer to they're over all potential. You pay for that great balance and speed that is already apparent with supercar's.

Yeah I offered to trade straight up with the driver. She just smiled! Hahahaha. I think Id take a zr-1 over a lot of cars. Thats the 1st one I saw in person. Its a bada** car forsure.
That looks like a yellow lambo. I tried to get an F40 to race, but he was too worried about his paint or something LOL. Race harnesses and everything and didn't even want to play. BOOOO!
