I think this year the general state of the economy is having an effect on what everyone is doing/saying presently.
Tthe DSM/EVO shootout is going to be really good this year if the ones with the big mouths are brave enough to show up!

Al "blew off a heater hose" last season at Island. That is what I was talking about. He cracked the block, but played it off as a heater hose issue. I said NOTHING about your car, but you seem to be getting defensive about it.
Mark's text actually said "Brandon just went 8.7...take that Buschur" since we had just moved ahead of you, but if you want to be dramatic about it and put a bunch of ?#$%$# in there then that is cool.
So again to recap.....I said NOTHING about you. Stop being defensive and go crack open a Schlitz.

Alright, fair enough on the heater hose, my apologies then. I just made a post about the race and that is what happened to my car, luckily Trent's leg/feet only turned red and there was no serious burns. Carpet in the car is wet........which sucks.
As for the text, I can only cut and paste what I was told. I tend to believe the more rude version. Either way, good sportsmanship.

I was at the track and saw that text message .. Its more than likely that "someone" edited it and fowarded after. This is common practice for some people.. Just trying to stir the pot.
So the car is within "legal" height.
Which is the topic of this thread.It lifted the head, and is already fixed... now someone come down to ATCO this weekend and beat him.
having problems uploading the video on youtube its taking forever.. but once we get it squared away we will put it up asap!!
As with the txt msg to al.. mark did not say that so someone is messing with your head Dave.. And just trying to start problems.. I have no problems with anyone nor do i like to argue about this stuff.. I dont talk about people and accuse them of doing things.. because i wouldnt like it done to me. He's also transfered this wonderful character trait to his girlfriend Al, who posts so much in here with nonsense you'd think they were giving away free twinkies for each post.
Brandon, Kieth, Mark, Jeff all of those involved, FANTASTIC job, beautiful car, and congratulations on your accomplishment, don't let these ladies drag you down. Buschur just cant stand to not be the "fastest" but he's the fastest to discredit anyone! Just goes to prove that he doesn't have enough.

I know most of the people on here don't even know who I am as I don't post very much but I think I will throw my opinion out there on this one.
It is very simple, to use an aid to cheat the timimg system is breaking one of the basic rules of drag racing. It is wrong at any track at any time, so I agree with david,Ivey,gsnt,jake(evil eagle) and whoever else believes this is wrong.
Now do I think that the car in question did this to cheat or that it even happend- no I deff. do not think it was intentionally done.
Also Al I am pretty sure that if it did happen the difference would be much less than the 2 tenths you are saying.
I didn't see this til today so I haven't had a chance to congradulate the driver but it's about time someone actually drove there evo to a good et to mph ratio.

I can promise you that I dont waste my precious time to follow what anyone else is doing and who is blowing up or not and send text messages to other tuners
I got about 5 text messages today saying that your engine has a hole in the head after your pass - I could care less - if you want to go fast **** will break
I am going to disable my text messages so I dont have to have any more idiotic remraks sent to me

Seems like alot of tension is in the air, IMO just settle it on the track WHERE IT ALL COUNTS. All you guys should have a showdown, name the place and time and eveyone has a month or two even three to organize rebuilds, tuning, "secret testing ", shipping, funds, fuel, etc etc etc "just be prepared"... Every shop bring their cars along with anyone else who think they can compete with these highly modded evo's. Puerto-Rico should be involved to. Lets see who got the ***** to actually show up and race, lets see whose heater hose blows off, lets see who tranny made a hole , lets see who can shift fast enough to keep their car on boost, lets see whose car is smoking like a freight train on the line or after the race or DURING the race "BLOWED UP".
All in all with an event like this,
no one is gonna wanna lose so they are going to make sure their cars are at PEAK PERFORMANCE so records will be broken and then who ever wanna re-write the ranking of who got the fastest evo in terms of time or M.P.H can do so.
