Sounds, weird, but interesting

 

Sounds pretty nice, but think of the potential carnage durring a wreck.

They're not going to run all four lanes at according to some of the local racers. The extra set of lanes are going to be used if say a car wrecks or oils down the track. Instead of waiting 30mins-1hour for the cleanup, they'll start running the other set of lanes. This way there's no delay in racing, and the cars will be more consistent.

Also there is rumor that they'll alternate between the lanes during a race. To keep the track prep up without having any downtime.

 

Naw... it's so they can run Pinks Extreme!

 

That will be interesting to see being all concrete.

I think this is a bad *** idea!!! If I had the money I would have already put this in the works. I remember last time I went to a track here in Orlando. I arrived at 6:00pm and stayed till closing, which is 10pm, and I only made 3 passes... WTF... you spend over $10 bucks, over $20 if you take the girl, and only make 3 passes. Every run a POS would break down. Having the other lanes in case a car breaks is cool, but IMO it'd be even cooler if all 4 lanes were going at the same time...

Honestly, I can't really complain. During events it's pretty good and when I've been on it, it's been good to me at time, but there's been some nights no one can grip and people just give up and leave... Last time I went I couldn't grip that well..
