Yes, I did...on Wednesday. Then, when it happened again (this is the 3rd time in a row actually), I went to the same guy on Saturday. He said the guy who handles that stuff was out of town but that he'd show him the data when he gets back. I'll probably be there again Wed with the DRs, so I'll bring it up again.

I wouldn't recommend 275/40, because they will bulge big time on the stock rims, they are heavier, they won't fit in the wheelwell easily, and we don't need huge width to get traction. A 225 or 245 would take all your power no problem. I only did the 245/45, because they will give me a little more gearing for 4th, which is petering out well past its prime at the finish line.

You don't heat up street tires, but you need to heat up DRs and of course slicks. I don't plan on doing big time burnouts or anything, so I may have some runs where they are cold and not hooking as they should, but on warm days and days when I get to hotlap, they should be great. I plan to keep the pressures up in the mid-30s, since I don't think I have enough power to fully utilize low-pressure DRs and because it will be great to get some extra top-end due to less drag.
Come to think of it, one other thing I did on Saturday in anticipation of a sticky launch pad was to leave my pressures up at 26f/28r cold. I had been going as low as 18 in hopes of gaining traction, and it affects trap speeds. This was the highest psi I had run yet this season, so hmmm. Hopefully, the DRs at 35psi will hook even better while also not slowing me down up top - that would be ideal, but I've never done DRs on an AWD...only on my 1G FWD.
