Wingless Warrtalon in Action
I'm only wingless temporarily while my wing is damaged - either getting it fixed or purchasing a used one from a GG IX (most likely). In the meantime, it suits me nicely for the drag racing I've been doing. Here is a great sequence of pics of me against a nice Integra. It's just a qual run, but it had the makings of an excellent competition run. He later got bumped up from the street class to pro class, which made sense to me. Pics courtesy of AznDragon. Many more to come...

No, sorry. It eventually ran 11.0, so it was doing well, but all I know is it had the slicks and wheelie bars, hah. I can probably find out if it's important.

I expected to pick up some trap speed, but my results are inconclusive. My first runs without the wing were on Wednesday, and I was only hitting high 116s/low 117s. However, there was a 20mph headwind blowing in the exact opposite direction of the cars. Others were complaining about it, and I still hit 11.9s with good 60's, but it wasn't as fast. Then, on Saturday with similar air and no headwind, I suddenly was doing 119s, which I've never done before. I think more of that was due to fixing 3 major boost leaks in the IC piping, but some may have been due to the wing - hard to tell.
