I need to know myself. My suspension is set aggressively for road racing, so it's probably not good for launching at all. I would guess that going softer in the rear would allow the rear to squat some. As it stands now, my car basically shoots out straight with no weight transfer, which I don't think is optimal for launching, but I'm not sure.

That is would be pretty damn impressive. Dealing with your altitude running those times is no small feat. I bet your would benefit a good amount from a Green. I bet that poor stock IX turbo drops like a rock at 7500+
One thing since I assume you have worse percieved taper have you been able to add a good chunk of timing up top to somewhat offset the lower boost?

Yes, exactly, due to extreme taper (~16-17psi at the top of 4th), we're able to squeeze out quite a bit of timing, but the timing is tapered relative to the load.

It doesn't. gawddamn, dude. It's a top flight NHRA track. Look at the runoff - it goes uphill at a steep angle - and the camera is high in the stands. The result is an illusion that the preceding track surface is downhill. People keep saying this crap based off this vid, and it's very old.

You guys are crazy - what's up with all the downhill stuff?
Is the high elevation really that bad at Bandimere?
These guys seem to benefit greatly from the downhill action...
