As close to getting kicked out as it gets - 11.51
With the rears stiff, that will prevent weight transfer, won't it? Weight cannot transfer to the rear if the rear shocks are stiff (like they are now). I would think I'd need to loosen up front and rear to allow it to squat - with the rears being set looser than front, but I have not tested this at all.
Loosening the rear shocks helps to a certain degree, but If the rear squats too much, the rear tires can unload and spin. But it doesn't sound like that's happening to you. Anyway, once you start getting down in the 1.6's and below, stiffening things usually helps. That's why when people add roll cages, they get better 60 ft despite the 100lb weight gain. The reason behind this (I think) is that the power produced by the engine is being more efficiently transfered to motion, rather than being stored or lost in the suspension.
Went South to PMI for some Friday evening TNT even though it was 97* when I arrived at the track. PMI is 1000' lower than Bandimere, so I was hoping to get a little extra speed on the traps while also hoping to actually get some good 60's in the groove.
I started out with an 11.66, which didn't seem great, but then the personal records started falling in succession. Here were my times for the night on the full runs:
11.663
11.662
11.621
11.565
11.562
11.550
11.536
11.524
11.510
Tried my damndest for that 11.49, but I never put that perfect run together. The best 60' was only a 1.65, and that was the 11.52. The 11.51 had a 1.66 but a little quicker shifting I guess. It was awesome being able to dial in an 11.55 for the bracket race, but I lost by a red light once again with a -.011, sheesh.

Not sure if there's much left to squeeze out. If I could learn to drop the 60's another tenth, then there's a whole other world out there to explore, but this is 2 tries at 2 tracks on the DRs, and I'm just doing mid 1.6s even with a 7k launch and minimal spin.

You should try to get that car a little more consistent.
Nice runs.Keith

hey warr. have you ever ran your car with the 6 speed in it. I brought my mr to the track last night, I just finished installing/ getting tuned on my new 61mm setup. It was actually much harder to launch in my opinion, so easy to bog. but either way i did 12.0 at 120, Im curious as to how much that shift to 5th at the 1000 ft mark is hurting my time
No plans for power mods. I'm very pleased with where the car is, and it's perfect for autox and time trials. I have to stay within a certain power/weight ratio for TTS, so that makes a difference. My only possible mod would be to bump up to a Green and see how close to 11.0 I can get at altitude...and probably some sort of ignition amplifier to handle all that boost and E-85, since I'm having to gap down to .019 on my plugs due to stock ignition.
Yeah, 245/45-17 Nittos, which are saving me about 300rpm at the finish line.

I'm using E-85, which affects the gap quite a bit due to the much higher volume of fuel being thrown in.

Going to shoot for mid 11's this year on the Evo X myself since I don't want to have to worry about a cage for a daily driver. Likely I'll just have to assume shifting to 5th is what I need to do since 4th will only get me to the 115-118 mph range depending on what rev limit I decide on with the almost as short as an RS gearset.

RSs do not have different gearing - maybe you meant MRs.

Off on both sides. 115 is way low for an 11.5. My driving is good, but not THAT good. The traps were like that all night with 113-115 on the left and 118-120 on the right. Avg the two, and you get around 117.5, I'd say.
