Haha..

A glide robs too much HP.. Spin the motor and drop a Gforce tranny in there and run 7's by accident.. You have the white car which will make its way down to the 8's in no time..

Keith
The last car i think i could ever see run brackets would be a 5 spd, AWD, 8sec evo..

You have to run 10 rounds the same day not 3 rounds on 3 different nights..

Don't temp me on the trade Jeff, it wouldn't take much and you'd then be stuck with a car needing a trailer and no street fun. Believe me, you'd be getting ripped off.

As far as bracket cars go.........bracket cars around here run within .05 each run and even at that they will lose. Bracket cars don't require head gaskets and have to be loaded and taken back to be fixed, they run round after round after round after round. Wake up.

The Blue evo 8 was there. I have videos as sad as they were. I was hoping for 10s but they didnt come. I have made very few passes as a driver and I understand that I need more seat time. I am trying to get to the track 3 times this week as I need as much practice as I can get. My 60s sucked! But give me time, I will get there.

get real man

The last 3 times to the track doesnt count as 1 night and making 3 passes.

It comes in time Brian dont get fed up. That was what I would always do at the track. I would screw up a launch, miss a gear, bog, etc... then I would get irritated, fed up then out and out pi$$ed off and none of the above would help the situation.

Listen to the people that know such as seasoned guys like David, Daniel, Trent, etc.... they have the knowledge and if you're willing to listen you WILL learn. David , Daniel and Kevin Lawson helped me alot with driving tips of stuff to try and get better. Things make alot more sense and come easier when you're not pi$$ed off and can listen to what your being told.

Honestly im still not what I would even consider good especially since I havent been in the driver seat for over a year but when the time comes next spring when my new toy hits the track I know I still have ALOT of learning to do.

Hang in there mang!

I see how this thread blew up into the abortion it now has become.....

But on a serious note, i don't understand why such hostility came to Keith for simply saying that it wasn't impossible to build a GT42r car that could run consistantly.

They did it. Granted the owner of the car is special.....but lets face it, the kid can drive........

I just don't understand why everyone's thong gets twisted when a comment is made via the internet (which is the most random and rediculous venue to begin with) that some people don't like.

It is what it is. Some people do what others cant. Maybe it's skill, maybe it's luck....regardless.....it's always going to be part of competition.

I think the reason why is because the thread wasnt meant to link accomplishments from Brandons car.. What one person calls consistent might not be consistent to another.. blowing a quarter size hole in the head wasnt mentioned amongst all the consistent runs though was it.. That of course was kept under wraps unlike some others that post when they do break things.. nobody can be sure as the car went rounds supposedly in boti if they changed headgaskets, tcases or trannies..
