No more GT42r, just a small T4 now.
I think the reason why is because the thread wasnt meant to link accomplishments from Brandons car.. What one person calls consistent might not be consistent to another.. blowing a quarter size hole in the head wasnt mentioned amongst all the consistent runs though was it.. That of course was kept under wraps unlike some others that post when they do break things.. nobody can be sure as the car went rounds supposedly in boti if they changed headgaskets, tcases or trannies..
Yeah but as common courtesy as a shop we try not to do so.. Everyone will say i am siding with BR cause of an obvious shop affiliation but its not the case.. I spend alot of time on here.. too much really and IMO jumping in a thread saying " well we can do what you are saying you couldnt do, or cant be done" is not real courteous.. just my .02
OK, back on topic fellas, please. I got a PM from Speedlimit and he did me a favor by deleting my post and some others, I just wasn't aware of him doing the favor
His solution is quite simple. Stay out of threads other shops start if you don't have something positive to say. Easy enough. Most days there are no other threads started by anyone else anyway and if there is it's a For Sale ad.
Easy for me.

We are making some changes to the suspension tomorrow (Wednesday) and then heading back out to Norwalk for more testing Wednesday night.
I think we have some bad fuel. The Import we are using is from last year and it appears as though it wasn't sealed up. Looks fine but what I am seeing in the logs hasn't looked right. I have some new fuel coming tomorrow.
Also, no more track rentals at Norwalk, that really sucks for us.

Its cool I went to lunch with my pops. I came back and you was gone.
David and Dan, best of luck tomm night
Update.
We went out to Norwalk tonight to make some more passes with the car. We made a few changes before we left to try to help the car leave. We now have it leaving nice and smooth but now we have just a bit too much tire spin. We keep making the mistake of changing mulitple things at once because we are so rushed for time trying to get runs in each time we go out.
The good news is this turbo is kicking some serious ***. We had 2 passes that were 161.xx mph and one that was 162.xx mph. I can't remember the tenths but two were just over 161 and one was just over 162. This is with less boost than we were running before on a much smaller turbo.
The car goes down the track MUCH easier now, it isn't nearly as violent and you don't have to beat the car nearly as hard.
I'm hoping one more trip to the track we'll have the car sorted out enough to put the GT42 back on it before the shootout.
I'm impressed with 162 trap speeds on this turbo for sure.

162mph on a p-trim
You got video man... OH wait I wasnt there
Great job... BOTH YOU
Hey David - quick question concerning your black drag Evo - are you simply trying to see how fast you can run it or are you actually looking to legitimately compete with it? I ask this because, knowing that you have a Ford 9" rear end and 4-link suspension, you'd be in the Outlaw class and as we all know that is a very tough bracket to be in. If that holds true, do you really think you can be competitive in that class? Just trying to understand your overall intentions here.

162mph is def moving on that turbo.
I am not sure where you are going with your response, but my question had to do with whether David was going to legally/professional compete with his black drag Evo. If so, the Ford 9" rear end and 4-link suspension mods alone put him in the Outlaw class, and that is a class that can be very difficult to compete in.
