good and bad 13.2

I got my car back from the build. I have not ran it since the new build and and found out on my first full pass the clutch is gone . I cant win for loosing of late. anyway. i did two easy passes first

60' - 2.677
1/8 - 9.12 @ 91.54
1/4 13.2 @ 120.28

drove out like from a stop light shifted to second then got on it.

60' - 2.78
1/8 9.0x @92.xx
1/4 13.3 @119.xx

same thing. drove out got into second and got on it. heard a horrible rattling noise from the car.

i took one more paass and went all out. not good

60'-1.80
1/8- 7.7x @ 93.45
1/4 11.99 @ 116.8

clutch was slipping the whole way. I was pissed and rode it out anyway . crossed the line with the tach at 8200 and only trapped 116.

Good news is the car has got some mad power for a stock 8 turbo car. the bad news is after spending all the money ive spent i now need a new clutch b4 i can see what she will do. exedy rebuild kit is on the way. cant wait to have everything working at once :P .

Incredible trap numbers! Get the clutch taken care of and im sure youll easily see 11's all day.

When i ran the 11.73 at 122 i was on all stock stuff. ie, mani, 02, fmic, turbo. the mods at that time were tbe tanabe exh, aem boost controller, e85 tune, and injen intake and upper ic pipe. about a two months ago i had the mani, turbo (hot and cold side) ported, custom 2-1/4" outlet mated to a ETS LICP, a 3-1/2" ETS FMIC, and a Megan ss02 added. I then had English racing build me a new mtr. I got a brand new 4g63 block and crank from mitshu. added Custom 1100hp coated JE pistons and eagle rods. Added to the head some new oem valves and brian crower springs, retainers, ect. the compression ended being about 9.5-1. Friggin thing spoolz so FAST . gonna try for a 10.9x on the stock 8 turbo. I think thats it.

gas is allways E85 with 1000cc injectors and single 255 walbro.

thanx. b4 all the work i was snapping off 11.8 consistanly at 119-120 all the time with crappy 1.77-1.8x 60's. I was on bald RA1s. Im now have brand new fedral 245-40's. cheap i know, but they have tread lol.
