10.18 @ 142 on 94 PUMP GAS
My friend Eric called me today and wanted to head to the track tonight with his car. Eric has gone 9.9 @ 149 on race gas. Tonight I met him a dragway 42 with a goal of running 9's on staight pump gas. He has not had race gas in the car in two weeks. The first pass was a 10.5 @ 129. Next couple passes he missed 4th gear. Then he ran back to back 10.33 @ 140 MPH. We where both surprised at the MPH. Eric then asked me to make some passes in the car. He told me the tranny was getting wore out, that he thought it had about 200 passes on it. My first pass i ran 10.18 @ 142 with a 1.55 60 ft. The next pass tranny took a poop
Im sure i would have got a 9 out of it, my 60ft time was a tenth slower than his best of 1.43. The pass when teh tranny broke, I had a 1.46 60ft. which should have put it in the 9.9 -10.0 range. He is going to get the tranny fixed and we plan on heading back out.
His car is heavy, 3200 I think if i can talk him into getting some weight out i think some 9.7-9.8 passes on pump are possible, I think on race gas it would run some mid 9's with ease. His car has no bells and whistles, buschur stage 3 motor stage 3 head and a Hta 35r. Stock ported intake and throttle body, exeddy clutch, still has AC and heat. I will let Eric fill int eh rest..
Thanks ERIC and sorry for breaking your tranny!

Just got home a few minuets ago and I'm dead tired, so I'm going to make this short and sweet until tomorrow morning. The 10.1 run actually had a mph of 143.28 on a peak boost of 32psi. in 4th. gear. Awesome driving Trent! When I went 10.3 @ 140 I knew we had a shot at the 9's tonight with you driving. Tonight was also my best 60' ever... being a 1.43
4th gear is gone but I was able to milk the car the hour drive home from the track. The trans thats in it is a Buschwacker stg 1 from 2 years ago. I must have 200+ passes on it running low low 11's, mid 10's, low 10's and a couple of 9's. That trans has been very good to me and has lasted way longer than I ever expected. I will be getting another stage 1 trans here in the next couple weeks, when Daniel has time to get me into the shop. Trent don't be sorry about breaking it. Like I said before I didn't think it was going to last to much longer the way 4th would grind. Thanks for the help and for driving tonight.
I am very impressed on how well this car runs. I was never expecting to run 140+ on pumpgas. I have to thank everybody at Buschur Racing for making this possible , these guys really know how to build these Evos.
I would also like to thank my Buschur COP for the 10.1 @ 143 on 94 octane.

WOW. Congrats that is amazing.
Buschur cars still owning the pump gas times in the USA. And most people drive their car on pump everyday. So... why have anyone apart from Buschur tune your car if you are in the USA?
