Front sway bar???

Ok, SO I have most of the car apart and that front sway bar is just staring at me. I cant think of a reason to keep it in the car for drag racing. So I'm just wondering has anyone else removed theirs and what was you experience? I just cant see how it would help me when the car is lifting?

Good grassroots way of dropping lbs Em.

I haven't done it on my Evo but did on my 03 Cobras w/o any ill effects.

Hope the new build is doing well!

Yeah I planed on keeping the rear to help the car not twist coming out of the gate.

For sake of discussion and i know it's not a direct comparison.....but on my Cobra i did notice the front of the car react much more in regards to weight shift to the back when i removed it.

Could that actually be detrimental to our AWD cars trying to keep the front end down a bit on the launch to keep the fronts form spinning with all the weight rearward?
