How much power does it take to go xx:xx in the 1/4 mi?
Ok I searched around a little for this. I am curious how much power it takes for a full weight street car to run the 1/4 mile at various times.

For every 100 lbs, ROUGHLY .1 sec, so 200 lbs is generally worth .2, etc. This is only a general guidline. The original question of how much power does it take to go xx:xx can be answered mathematically by several websites. A good one that also uses barometric pressure, temperature, humidity and other factors can be found at sccoa. I personally think the .1 is a little 'high', but not by much.
