Change the title of the thread. Full exhaust, modified intake and SAFC is not "almost" stock....lol.

i never said i doubted your time, i just thought your mods list was too short. You did mention elevation and temp, so that makes a difference. And as you said tracks make a difference. At MIR (a 1/4 track) i consistently pull 7.9 1/8mi. But at Old Dominion an 1/8track i can't get under 8.0. The only days i've run this year its been over 75deg with lots of humidity. No matter though, you ran the times. Takign off the air filter does help a lot! Dropped me .4 one day at the track

OK, it's been a long time since I actually visited and posted and to my surprise, this thread is still alive. I therefore apologize in advance to resurrecting it.

As I stated earlier, those were the ONLY mods on the car. I saw and witnessed them myself. So all you jealous people whining how it cannot be done, well, take a hike. Why would I need to post some BS info? How does it benefit me? I was just impressed by it and thought it would be nice to share. To me, that's close to stock. At least that's how we DSMer's see it. The car was run at Ozark International Raceway in Rogersville, Missouri. I do not know the elevation off my head but you can look it up if it will help in your ET altitude analysis.

On a sour note, that EVO was totalled some time back and the owner lost one of his limbs in the accident (from what I was told) - so let the thread RIP. There really isn't anything to add to it. Stop bickering and work harder on your own cars and make them faster. Happy tuning brethrens.

That was over a year ago and I had a different picture webhosting company back then. I gave the slip back to the owner over a year ago - so sorry. I do not really have anything else unless someone saved it.

If I can recall, he missed 2nd on the first run and ran a low 13 or something. He then had a clean run (Andrew the driver knows how to launch an AWD well - He had a 91 AWD Talon like mine then) and ran a 12.5 @ 110mph with I believe a 1.77 60' or something to that effect.

With exhaust, intake, better clutch + dynoflash (20psi---->) I ran 12.81 @ 107 with 1.7X 60'. The Evo doesn't take a lot to break into the 12's...
