UPDATE

I went to the 1/8 again last friday (the 1/4 had something going on ) and I did a little better. I only got 2 runs with a 5 hr wait

First run
60' 1.746
330' 4.948
1/8 7.545
@ 94.158 MPH

First run
60' 1.845 (major bog RPMs drop all the way down to 2.5k
330' 5.250
1/8 7.942
@ 89.804 MPH
So I am wondering if I can cut a 1.65 60' that will be about 7.3-7.4 on the 1/8, correct? and that will put me on mid 11s and maybe a little lower , correct?
with 300whp

I can't wait to go to the 1/4

Also consider your shift points. Where are you shifting in each gear? With a VF39 on a 2.5 you should only see redline as you cross the line. Dyno chart?

The times are with a protuner map E85 at 22.5psi with COBB AP, after AP. Keep in mind that I am making about 330whp max on a dyno. With airboys interpolation sheet I am making 295whp and like 320wtq

My tranny just broke and got something almost indestructible, so I can launch hard as long as I don't break my axels . On those runs I launched at 4.5K rpm, I am going to lower my tire pressure and launch maybe at 5.5K, I got a forged LSD so maybe I just drop my clutch
omg your small turbo is pushing 22.5 psi it must be choking at top end from being out of breath, i had my 06 sti running 18psi and it felt maxed out.. good job tho

what tran's did you go with?? tre - shep

I have no idea at what RPMs I was shifting the sun was in my face , all I know is that I have to shift at 6K, I have a road dyno chart I will post the sheet when I get home. I am making 305whp and 330wtq on E85

DS1 motorsports tranny, my tunner and I are going to push it to 25psi .
Right now I am hitting 22.7psi max and it drops to 15.5psi at redline .
So we are going to raise the boost and add a helper spring, I can't wait

why don't you just put a new turbo in there?? oh thats right you want to set the record first then the new turbo lol good luck with setting a new record!!

if you can't "find evidence that NLTS improves ET" then you don't know anything about drag racing and need to quit. You are never going to run the full potential of "ANY" car without doing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also I am running 22.7 psi making 293whp and 320wtq on Airboy dyno road, I can raise it to 25 psi but I need a new spring, I will run it as it is and see what happens. After that I will raise it to 25 psi and use a EWG to hold boost better




I know that was the first time at the track for me ever, I am really happy with my 60' after looking around in both forums most noobs are lucky to get 2.0

I have a ACT HD clutch and build tranny now, so I am tempted to just drop the clutch. I am planning on Launching at 5.5k with a 23lb tire pressure, on the video I launched at 4.5k


Your only making 293 whp? With all that?

No moon dyno.. Besides he backed up that 29X-305whp with a 95@1/8th...
Some like big numbers on a dyno, others like them on time slips.

What are you talking about willis?, I know NLTS or FFS works on big turbo cars, but my turbo is tiny, smaller than the stock EVO VIII 16G .

I tried NLTS on the second run even with the bog my trap suffer 89mph is my lower trap ever, my tuner is working to fix my NLTS but for some reason my car doesn't like it. Anyways I think I will get the record lift shifting
