I need help, subaru

The Subaru forum is more into road racing, autox and time attack, but to me the EVO community has a better knowledge of drag racing which is what I am into right now.

I am trying to set a new 1/4 record for a VF39, I have 07 WRX with a VF39 on E85. I run the other day the 1/8 an I posted good times for being my first time, my car is really strong and it seems that is possible to run high 11s with my setup.

Comparing my 1/8 times with the previous record holder and the new record holder I am doing very good. I am going to the 1/4 on the 27th so I want to get ready.

CURRENT RECORD
60'... 1.64
1/8 ... 7.47 ... ?? mph
1/4 ... 11.740 ... 115.619 mph

60'... 1.5939
1/8 ... 7.56 ... 92.55 mph
1/4... 11.9619 ... 112.21 mph
PREVIOUS RECORD
60' ... 1.71
1/8 ... 7.580 ... 91.079 mph
1/4 ... 11.781 .. 113.186 mph
My run
60' ... 1.852
330' ... 5.119
1/8 ... 7.768 ... 93.588 mph

So, what do you guys think? Please help

Video of my runs

Get your 60' and 330' down and you should be right there with them. Get that 330' sub 5.0's.

The times are with a protuner map E85 at 22.5psi with COBB AP, after AP. Keep in mind that I am making about 330whp max on a dyno. With airboys interpolation sheet I am making 295whp and like 320wtq

My tranny just broke and got something almost indestructible, so I can launch hard as long as I don't break my axels . On those runs I launched at 4.5K rpm, I am going to lower my tire pressure and launch maybe at 5.5K, I got a forged LSD so maybe I just drop my clutch

NLTS FTMFW
no lift throttle shifting

+1 lighter rim and tire that has more traction (Boggarts)(hoosiers)

weight reduction (start pulling stuff out)

you are going for a record so don't ***** foot go all the way.

Im with this guy^. The first thing I thought was "Damn that wheel/tire combo is certainly not a record setting one"

What record are you trying to set exactly? Just the fastest VF39? Upgrade the clutch, turbo, intercooler, etc. Your car looks damn near stock. What are your mods?

Not necessarily... There is still the complete back half of the track to go.
Subaru's like falling apart after the 1/8th, shift knock, heat soak etc..

I am going to try NLTS but I haven't find concrete evidence that it helps to lower the times??? I know in theory sound good to keep the turbo spooling and less RPM drop but I still have not found any evidence that it works.

I lost a few pounds lately I should be around at 2780lbs with the same tire and wheels combo and full interior, the last time at the track I was at 2880lbs

Just the fastest VF39, my car looks stock you need glasses my friend

VF39 and STI TMIC
Perrin Headers and Uppipe (ceramic coated)
Buschur TBE (ceramic coated) BUSCHUR POWER
Hallman MBC
APS intake
Gimmick turbo inlet
TGV deletes
Phenolic Spacers
APS dual vent BOV

Also I am running 22.7 psi making 293whp and 320wtq on Airboy dyno road, I can raise it to 25 psi but I need a new spring, I will run it as it is and see what happens. After that I will raise it to 25 psi and use a EWG to hold boost better

I know that was the first time at the track for me ever, I am really happy with my 60' after looking around in both forums most noobs are lucky to get 2.0

I have a ACT HD clutch and build tranny now, so I am tempted to just drop the clutch. I am planning on Launching at 5.5k with a 23lb tire pressure, on the video I launched at 4.5k
