I don't want to start any controversy, but just out of curiosity (lets say both drivers are equally experienced)......Can a stock Evo IX ( lighter in weight) beat a stock EvoX MR (flawless & instantaneous shifts) in a 1/4 mile run?

 

Yes.. as stated hundreds of times a stock 8 & 9 will crush a X. Even with all of the electronics of the X, the 8 & 9 are still faster around the circuit track as well..
