I just swapped to the 5 speed recently.. The 4th gear went out of no where from just a 4th gear roll on
Since I swapped to the 5 speed I miss the 6 speed already

Update: we got a 6 point rollcage yesterday I'll be taking pics once it's installed

Also if by any chance your reading this I wanna Thank Adam of MA Performance for hooking us up with the Hydraulic throw out bearing that we needed for the 6 speed Quarter Master Twin the clutch was just amazing during the run lightning quick shifts smooth as butter and I swear the pedal feels lighter than stock Thanks again Adam!

This shouldnt be right? all you should need is a 4 point harness bar you dont need a full cage. a full cage isnt required until 10.5 and it has to be certified for 9.90s and inspected. but maybe. unless your just gonna put the whole cage in the first time which would be smart.

Thats awesome tho man congrats on the time nice 60ft to with those wheels/tires..lol

Infineon is a very very strict track!

But I do got a little update for everyone our 6 point roll cage will be coming in tommorow and I also did get a 5 point Camlock style Simpson safety harness all I need is a fire jacket and we'll be ready to head out and make a few more passes another change is going to be wheels and tires instead of running the heavy 18's i'll be on the stock evo9 enkei's and some falken all-season's very soft sidewall on these.

Yes, this is the case. I think the Sacramento track has it's downfalls as well. It's usually about 15 degrees warmer there than at Infineon. They kick people out on Wed nights for going 11.49 or faster as well...mainly because it's a "Street Cars" event. But on TNT nights, they usually let you get high 10s before saying anything.

^ FYI: you might want to get a copy of an NHRA rulebook. That bar (4:10) and harness (10:5) do not meet specs. Keep going, good numbers!

Yea actually in those pictures the seat and the harness is not even installed yet I just put them in the car to take quick some pictures and to see how it would look. I know the cage is missing a few things gonna be added on soon. Thanks Indy yeah hoping to get her out there soon im itching to make more passes.

Actually alot of weight was taken off when the cage was put in to kinda offset the extra weight that it would gain. What was recently taken off was the whole carpet, roof lining, and other misc plastic parts of the interior. I took all those pieces home today to put into storage and it was some good weight in all those items. I know it doesn't offset all the weight that the cage puts in but should help out alittle.
