Another BR Update!
Went up to Milan last night for some test and tune on a good track with the new set-up. Car was on 93 octane from Shell and weighed in just under 3k pounds with me in it. Im still having some problems with 4th gear. I think after the beating the car took last year that its could possibly be time for a trans rebuild. If so, it will probably be getting the 4.10 final conversion and going to the evo 9 first gear to help the car even more.
My first pass of the night I set a new personal best for my MPH, pass was on the hoosier QTPs.
10.39 @ 141
Couple passes later I set my new best et with a 10.37 @ 138.
The car was running extremely consistent when it would let me in 4th. I really think the car has a 9 second pass in it shortly with a good pass. I had 2 runs torward the end of the night that were perfect runs except for the clutch was starting to get hot from hot lapping it and being on the 2-step for too long and it rolled the beams.
My best 60' of the night was a 1.45, the 2 passes it rolled through were right around or maybe under that but with rolling through, they ended up being 1.73 and 1.65s. so next time out i feel this car has a very good chance of breaking into the 9 second class.

I was no-lifting on 1-2 and 2-3, with the problems with 4th gear I was having to baby the hell out of it into 4th.
I deffinately see a 9 second pass on pump gas in the near future with this set-up. Trans rebuild with upgrades may be the ticket. if i can no-lift every gear, its there for sure.

Wow that is insane driving on a bad 4th! 1.45 60' is insane! BTW - do you have a post of the weight reduction you have done to your car? Under 3k with you in it is impressive! Congrats on the new bests!

I'm sorry i haven't kept up with all the threads flying around here but what's your set-up looking like now?
Also i'm interested in seeing your wheel/tire set-up as you were on the MT slicks before but QTP's now...........

I have quite a bit of weight reduction done. The heater/ac plus core are gone, all sound deadening is out of the car. Still Full interior though. Drove it to school 3 days this week with the street tires on. Im also on the small brake kit. At the track the car is about 100 pounds lighter than the street because my street wheels/tires are about 60 pounds each. My slicks on the 15s are only around 35 pounds.
I used to be on the MT Motorcycle slicks.
I now have 2 sets of 15" wheels. One set has 26x9.5 Hoosier QTPs, the other set is the 26x8.5 MT Drag ETs.
I have some pics posted of it on the QTPs in show in shine under Evo at MCIR.
Thanks for all the compliments! Hopefully its just the clutch needs adjusted more. I feel if it goes into 4th with no-lifting and doesnt roll the beams. It should be very capable of a 9.8-9.9 @ 145 pass shortly. The car was there last night just the clutch got hot and rolled it forward just enough to break the beams.
But were heading out either tomorrow night or saturday on race gas. The car will be a consistent 9 second car on race gas this year.
I was thrilled with 10.6 passes last year and thought the 10.38 last year was amazing. Last night with 4th being gay it was still running around 10.4 over 135 every pass. So it should get real nasty once its all sorted out!

Thanks man! Never checked, he looked under the hood and said that was good. I have G-Force 5 point harnesses and a Sparco Harness bar. He looked at the date n my harnesses and said I was good to go. ended up making about 8-9 passes and all but one were under 10.6. One I bogged and missed 4th and just shut it down for an 11.6.
