Thanks for the info on the weight reduction - really wonderd how streetable it was and it sounds like it is!

This is a 9-second car for sure once you start pumping über-premium and get the clutch straightened out!

Thanks Jeff! I dont think it will go 9s on the QTPs, it would have definately gone 9s on the slicks though had it not rolled through the beams on the 2-step!

Thanks guys, the decision on the clutch/trans will be made tomorrow/saturday. If Dan can't adjust it and get it to go into gear, then the trans is coming out and it will be getting rebuilt.

I need it in top notch shape for the spring shootout! lol

Thanks!

Update from today:

Q16 tune finished.

654 hp with a 3rd gear pull! Went to 2 tracks and they both rained out. Were heading to Milan tomorrow. Weather should be good, the slicks are on, race gas in and hoping for traction!

Thanks guys! Update from today, still getting locked out of 4th gear. so im taking the car back up to buschur monday to get the tranny rebuilt.

As for today, first pass bogged Bad out of the hole. 1.9 60' and barely went into 4th and went 11.0. checked the log and realized it was on low boost. next pass bogged again, 1.7 60' and wouldnt go into gear at all. ended up with a 10.6 and was asked to talk to tech. Needless to say i am no longer allowed to run over the 1/8th without safety equipment.

So, Im getting the trans rebuilt now. Then after the spring shootout a cage is going in with a chute behind the license plate so I can run it when I want to. i pretty much have all the safety equipment I need besides the cage, chute, window net and neck brace.

Then Ill end up getting my license. There are some really nice tracks around that are starting to get real technical since they are getting into NHRA and IHRA certifications.
