Here are some pics and videos of last weeks events.

to start off, my transmission WOULD NOT go into 4th, it is currently at Buschur to be freshened up again. 70 passes in the 9s and 10s and around 12k miles, its a bit tired.

Also, the last couple passes the 2-step wasnt even close to being high enough. But we were asked to leave the track and return with proper safety equipment. Arrangements to get the car legal and me get licensed are in the process. It will remain a full street car, it will just also comply with NHRA rules to a 9.0 and I will also be having the car certified and be getting my 9 second license.

The car was running consistent 10.3-10.6 on pump gas the other night without 4th gear and went 10.6 with a 1.7 60' and no 4th. The car has been averaging 1.4x 60' times on the MT ET Drags.

It will go 9s nest time out no problem. Its deff. got the mph and the 60's. Just the trans has been holding up back. When we did the 10.37 and 10.4 on pump gas it had 1.75 and 1.63 60's, the clutch got hot and rolled the beams. Next time out it will go 9s on pump and low low 9s on race. my driving is finally getting there, just need the trans to cooperate with me and the track officials to not kick me out! lol

you aren't kidding....your 4th gear hates you. Way more than mine hates me!

 

It will be butter though for the import shootout! Its at Buschur and Dan will be working his magic shortly!
