EEK! First time @ track...

I finally made it the the track for the first time since owning the car...

It sprinkled nearly all day and only got 2 runs in..

One thing that made me mad was they made me go thru the water pit and made me try to do a burnout even tho i kept telling them that my car is AWD and it can't spin tires enough to dry the tires! so any way here are my times....

both run i bogged the launch because i was nervous from being at the track for the first time

MODS:
3" downpipe
3" testpipe with 3" QTP cutout
ETS lp2 lower ic pipe
aem intake
mbc @ 22 psi with 4ws Tune (91 octane tune)
2-step set @ 5800
exedy twin hd clutch

1st Run

60' ... 2.177
330 ... 6.012
1/8 ...9.112
MPH ...80.53
1000 ... 11.785
1/4 ... 14.015
MPH ... 101.44

2nd Run (with even worse bog at launch)

60' ... 2.759
330 ... 6.659
1/8 ... 9.791
MPH ... 79.88
1000 ... 12.467
1/4 ... 14.703
MPH ... 101.19

looks like i really need to work on my 60' at the track! let me know what you guys think

Tell those *****es no water box. Thats rediculous they shouldn't make you do that unless their pit lane is a dirt road.

Go to a "closed track" or a safe lot and practice until you get it down, just remember though if your nervous take a second to gather yourself instead of trying to get a great r/t.

No worries man! This isn't an easy car to drive, few more times at the track and you'll be deep in the 12's trapping where you should me =-)

Cheers!

low tire pressures to 20 psi and up the 2 step to 6k at least...you have a twin disc so your clutch will easily be able to handle it...were these runs done with the cutout open???
