2-step for sure.....i went out and practiced my launching on a "closed track"! and one thing i never thought about was watching the tach while launching! it was alot easier watching the tach while slipping it out and just trying to keep the rpm up

I have better results without the 2-step. IMHO, it is better used on a prepped track surface like on test and tune days. Then you can lower your tire pressures and work on a 2-step launch.
I just float the rpms just below the 2 step and get little wheel spin depending on how I work the clutch. I usually knock off 1.7's without too much clutch wear. After all those 1.7 launches, I still have my stock clutch.
With your mods you should be in the low 13's, possibly dipping into the 12's even without a tune. I had fewer mods and I kicked off a 13.1@97mph.
Practice, practice.
