Stock evo 8 1/4 mile

Som i decide to take my vehicle to the drag strip to see what it can do, the vehicle is stock other than a drop in filter, and my numbers seem high, is this stock numbers? .... elevation sea lvl 96 degrees with 20% humidity.

Hehe your probably right...I just didnt want to break anything I wasnt dropping the clutch I was launching by letting it go slowly.

you're suppose to let it go slowly, but to slow u burn the clutch , I learned the hard way, but I got better. Keep at it and try to get those 1.7-1.8 60's

You've got a little way to go.. The driver mod. is the best free mod. there is.

I took my '05 to the track for the very first time, with the same mods. as you and pulled of a 12.95 @ 106.32

That sounds about right. The heat and poor launch definitely affected the run. That's what I'd expect actually. Play with your shift points too, there might be some room with that.

Your car definitely seems down on power, since even with improved 60' you'll be under 100 MPH in the traps. It was hot - did you do any data logs? Would be good to see if the car is mistuned and knocking.

Stock 03 and 04's are slooow. I know from experience. Keep the intake temps down, let it breath, and add boost you can easily remove a couple seconds with a good run
