Bone stock Ralliart Sportback 1/4 mile times.

Track results!

60' . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.031
1/8 ET . . . . . . . . . 9.0317
1/8 MPH . . . . . . . 76.54
1/4 ET . . . . . . . . 14.187
1/4 MPH . . . . . . . 94.89

I am surprised as hell by these results! I was expecting a high 14 at best on a bone stock car with less than 600 miles on it at full weight (spare in the trunk, my fat *** driving) at around 3/4 tank of fuel.

Anyone else who has run a bone stock Ralliart post up your results!

Keith

PS: This Ralliart is as fast as my first EVO (03 EVO) was bone stock, it ran 14.14 @ 96

The way people talk down about the Ralliart I thought it was much slower than this... but looking at the magazine comparison articles it looks like they are getting low 14's out of them as well.

If I took it back to the track at 5000 miles bone stock I would probably pull a high 13 out of it (600 miles on the ODO when I went to the track)... but as of today the car is no longer stock I installed the Buschur Racing FMIC, upper IC pipe, and lower IC pipe. It took a bit of redneck engineering, but I was able to get them on.

Tuesday I am picking up a new Cat Back exhaust and mini battery kit that I will put on the car Wednesday along with my high flow cat. I may be able to get a cone filter setup onto the car as well.... we will see what a difference these make (un-tunned so far) at the track next weekend

Is your Ralliart bone stock, and how did you do? No reason to be embarrassed, I think the drag race forum is where people are the most encouraging rather than belittling of each other. If you post up your full time slip as I did we can analyze it and hopefully tell you what (if anything) you are doing wrong and help you make your Wednesday trip more enjoyable

What launch technique did you use? Did you let it auto shift, or did you use the paddles? What setting on the center differential? Did you remember to turn traction control off? Did you remember to put it into sport mode?

Every one of these makes a difference, and we can help you out.

A 422hp Camaro is not a 14 second car unless the driver is asleep at the wheel.

Camaro's are high 12/low 13 second cars with novice drivers/unprepared road. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C9zanLcpXY

Is there a V-6 version of the new Camaro? Perhaps that is what he saw a test of.
