368whp=12.9!Help!

hello..

B4 I added cams and fuel pump and a retune I managed to run 12.9 with 312whp..now wth 368whp I cannot get lower than 12.9!

Im getting the ACT high rpm clutch lockout..Im launching the car @5k and no matter how I drive this is the best time I have reached..

Any Advice On how to improve my 1/4??

The best 60was 1.78
constant 1.8
@104mph!

More info needed....

Your 60 ft while not great is not terrible. What did you trap ? Speed @ 1/4 mile ? If you def are getting lock-out that will slow your shifts, where is lock-out occurring 3-4 or ?

Might could be your 7 turbo is running out of steam...could be lots of issues. You don't seem to have big fmic, so the ambient (summer) temps would in it'self effect your timeslips

Post up some more info.....

Temp was like 25 c...

Yea im getting the Lockout on 4th no matter how soon I shift it will lock..ocassionally I get the Lock on 2nd to..

craziest thing..I was stuck at 12.9 with a lot of power myself in my subie..but it's a subie with a stock turbo; so I just chopped it to needing more hp

my best trap was 106, which sometimes net's guys 12.6-12.7

something is deff wrong. i ran a 13.1 @ 103.5 in a bone stock ix RS.

ya something is def wrong, cuz like this guy above me i ran 13.1 at 104.3. in my 8 with 290 whp.

Read. I think the lock out issue is whats killing his times

I ran 12.6 @110 with drop in intake,reflash and exhuast

I shift like granny since if I try to shift fast I get the lockout..

Im going to bleed the clutch rite now and adjust the clutch once again to try out again.

lockout and heat.
I had the same problems and you hit much better times then mine did with the ACT problems and similar heat.
thats like 90+ degrees F isnt it?

What is your 1/8th ET / mph?

Forget lockout, when I didn't have 3rd gear, I still ran a 12.8 @ 107, and that was when I made like 269 whp on the STM dyno.

you might have a MASSIVE boost leak somewhere, i can almost garrantee it.

you and i are making almost identical power, yet two days ago my car felt like utter dog ****.....i had a HUGE boost leak on one of my couplers, one of my clamps had given out.

howd i make the power then when i was getting tuned? the asnwer i also was able to figure out.

i was able to pull super hard in any *1* gear(which is why your probably tuned correctly), however when i shifted my car felt terrible, the coupler would leak badly with all the engine movement.

check all your joints, and pressure check the entire system. this will show you were your leaks are and what pressure your BOV starts leaking.

even with me bogging my launch missing second and fourth i was able to pump out a 12.7 @ 106
