11.4 @ 125 Pump Gas

Took the car out on my new setup.
AMS35R
Stock block.

Running 28-29psi on straight 93 octane. (Mobil)

I am having serious traction/running out of gear issues.

First run the car car went 11.4 @ 125 with a 1.8 60'

I am on bald snow tires.
The car is also maxing out 4th gear and I don't want to shift into 5th but I feel like I have no choice....what are some of you guys doing?

I'm going to try some new radials, 245/45/17, hopefully bigger/wider tires will up my MPH.....

I did another run car went 11.4@ 125.9 with a 2.0 60'

It basically just spins all of first

Any input? I mean I do know I have to cut my 60's down but on the tires I am on now, it will never happen.

Video to come.

Ya. I got the MPH, could have more but bouncing off the rev limiter isn't too safe.

I need to figure this out! So switching from 235/45s to 245/45s will make a huge difference?

Rev out higher. Set your limiter to 8500 (assuming your head will take it) and ride it out. Spinning off the line will falsify your MPH, more spin higher MPH. So get some better tyres, set proper tyre pressures and see if you can cut your 60' down, youll naturally see your MPH drop a bit too but your ET will improve.
