11.950 @ 114 "basic" + EMS and FMIC

1.712 (off my normal times by .05)
4.972
7.672
91.37
9.975
11.950
114.18
23psi spike dropping to 20 by 7000rpm
116sunoco racegas

bogged the launch just a little...normal 1-2 shift powershift 2-3 3-4

12.470 @ 108.53 1.653 at 16psi first run before setting mbc
12.210 @ 112.45 1.698 at 21psi set mbc normal easy shifting, spun tires a little
11.950 @ 114.18 1.712 spun tires on laucn again, but powershifted 2-3 & 3-4
13.836 @ 109.78 2.212 spun AGAIN but tranny poped out of first gear!
not good
after this run I was real worried that Ihad possibly broken a driveline part
drive around pits...car seems fine.
I put the 4 gallons of 93 pump back into the tank
turned the boost down to 19psi
decide to make one last easy pass to confirm nothing broke and that the trans stays in gear.

so..i guess it's fine.
12.131 @ 113.77 with a 1.765

all the ususal...same mods as last week, with the addition of a spearco "drop in" FMIC core. The info on the logs shows that the FMIC core wasn't doing well. Intake temps after the intercooler are 5-15* hotter than with the stock FMIC from at the end of 4th gear at the same boost level (within 1psi). It was colder ambient temp tonight than on sunday during the day last week. most of the runs are starting within a few degree's of ambient temp. my data on all 4 runs leads me to belive i could have gone exactly the same if not better on the stock FMIc core.

That's awesome bro. What clutch are you using? Is your AEM running through the stock maf or did you switch over to a map sensor?

He's running that MAP setup. That's how he can give us such definitive intake temps and discuss intercooler efficiencies.

Great time man!! You've really motivated me to try to prevent my car from sucking! I've got the 272's and a few other mods over ya'lls car, and it's still slow

Oh, and don't forget to update your signature, eh?

Could the lessened cooling be due to less "stay time" of the air in the FMIC due to lower pressure drop? Do you have any data of the pressure drop through this core?

Same AEM EMS map as last time? I took your pump gas ignition map and converted it over by hand to my RPM and load points (Pain in the butt!) and then compared it to mine. In the mid RPM ranges at low to medium boost levels you are running significantly more timing than me, but in the upper RPM's and higher boost areas I am running more timing than you (with zero knock). I think both of us are probably running more conservative than we need to. Do you have access to a dyno that and the mechanics stethescope? Next time I tune on the dyno I will tweak the ignition curve each run with the dyno operator listening for knock with the scope!
