Maybe your mivec settings for the stock cams are off? I know that IMO they are hit or miss. I have cars trapping your MPH with stock cams/turbos as well as stock cams and bigger turbos. They really do work well once setup right.

It's making 460awhp... I promise. I'm so sure that I'll be sure to post the dyno graph tomorrow...EASY 460.

I'm 99% sure it's the clutch. I spoke with Lucas today and he also thinks that the twin is slipping.

So the clutch is slipping the whole pass? I mean your picking up 28mph on the back half.. Your pass sounds clean, just down on power.

The Exedy Twin is sort of a funny clutch, drove an evo w/ a 6262; it hit hard of the line (1.6X 60 ft) yet it slipped real bad through 3rd/4th.

Also, try to get a solid data log on the car just for insurance that its running ok. (If it's not the Clutch)

I had the same issue with my Exedy Twin last time out at the track. Held nice off the line for a 1.500 60ft and slipped in 3rd and 4th as well.

well I went to Drift Office's Dynojet in Auburn, WA

BIG Thanks to Bob and Bill sticking around after hours to help me out. There was another guy that was helping out, but I didn't catch his name.

Sick stuff, so its def the driving... Looking at your slip, your 330 is horrible.
The clutch would cause the top end MPH to fall off pretty bad.. .Your car is still gaining 28mph on the back half.

Last night a customer of mine went from 11.7@120 to 11.32@122.8 by just going from a 4.89 330 to a 4.71... Car stayed on boost between the gear, hence the better 1/8th and then 1/4mile, and the higher MPH from the steady acceleration. 60ft went from a 1.62 to a 1.61 .. the 1.61 being on the slower pass.. This car was also shifting 5th gear.

With some better shifting you will pick up a great amount of MPH.. 480 should have you in the 126-128mph range with good driving.

Junior... here is the RPM plot in blue and the MAP signal in Red.

NOTE: Evo 8 3rd and 4th gear with 245/45/17 tires. I'm at 7700 before I hit the limiter through the traps. 7700 with that gear combination should be 126.1MPH I trapped 120. SLIP? I was on the limiter probably a 150 feet from the 1/4mile mark

2nd pass (WITH BURNOUT)

3rd pass (WITHOUT BURNOUT)

So the clutch aint slipping, and the tune is good. 92 mph trap in the 8th is what I ran on the green on e85. I had 30psi e85 7.6 @ 92 and 11.8 @ 119 if I recall correctly. If you are only trapping those mphs, you just don't have the power to go any faster.

It looks like it takes it a long while to come back into boost after a shift. Especially the 1-2 shift.

If you look at the RPM plot you can SEE the clutch slip. LOOK.

I'm going to agree that I'm not as fast at shifting as I think I am.

Fathouse,
QuarterMaster Twin or Exedy Triple?

This makes me not want to drag my e85 red turbo. I don't want to replace my new exedy twin. Is your clutch new Ernie?
