what MPH?

What MPH should a stock EVO get in the 1/8? I ran my Evo back when it was hot and pulled 9.1 @ 77 mph with a 2.0 60 ft. totally stock and Sat. I ran a 8.7 @ 78 mph with a 1.8 60 ft. This was with a HKS cat back.

Should a EVO be trapping higher speeds than that?

Okay...I was just wondering being my ITR with intake and cat back was trapping the same mph when I had it. It kinda worried me. I guess the top end on the Evo sucks ***.

I guess it's time to up the boost or at least to get it to hold 19 psi throught the rpm's. I'd at least hope that would help the mph to get higher.

hell yeah... holding the boost will help out alot.

not only will you have more RPM to work with, but you will make more power cause it will peak higher

Dynoflash will help you top end A LOT, and allows you to hold boost to redline.

Yeah, but Dynoflash wants to tune the car on a dyno and I live no where near them. I'm not going to send my ECU in for a tune, but not get the same results as the guys that get dyno time.

I'd like to do something like Dynoflash so I wouldn't have to tap into my stock wiring with a S-AFC or whatnot, but it's looking like I'm gonna have to go that route. I'm not sure about WORKS reflash with the mods that I have and will have soon.

Mods I have now are HKS down pipe and carbon-ti cat back. I'll be getting the HKS racing suction intake and BOV as well here in the next few months.
