1st time out - '03 Evo

Being that I usually just autox my Evo I thought I'd take it to the strip to get some baseline times before doing more mods here soon. My Evo has: 3" RMR downpipe, Megan Racing 3"catback, mbc, K&N panel (drop-in) filter, Dynoflash (mail flash), Buschur fmic. I am on the stock clutch with 22,000 miles. It still has the stock clutch line and restrictor It was VERY hot (90+) and humid. It was very consistant running...no long cooldowns.
Here are my times:
R/T: .101
60ft: 1.73
330ft: 5.201
1/8: 8.136
mph: 83.49
1000ft: 10.686
1/4: 12.833
mph: 105.25

R/T: .016
60ft: 1.725
330ft: 5.211
1/8: 8.155
mph: 83.52
1000ft: 10.704
1/4: 12.864
mph 104.52

Very nice times for the first time out. I'm on the oem clutch w/ 21k but I'm afraid of running it. I don't feel like paying for a new 1 yet

It was slipping. It was really stinking for about the first 4 runs. BUT after that it started grabbing good. To the point that my 60ft stayed the same because I was spinning the tires on the launch rather than the clutch slipping. So when it started grabbing better it didn't help my times any.
IMO, the stock clutch is pretty good.

What I see is excellent driving with a lack of power for the mods. Your 60' and other measurables are excellent for the MPH, but the mph itself is lower than it should be for those mods. I'm sure the heat had an effect, but I dealt with decent heat/humidity in my runs, too. The mail-in flash probably isn't the greatest, so get a custom one or slap on an S-AFC if you can.

With good tuning ability, I expect very nice gains. Good choices...
