High Altitude Run
High Altitude Run
Raced at Bandimere in CO tonight. It was my 2nd time dragging the car so I haven't mastered launching yet. The Exedy Twin disk is proving to be difficult to slip. I'm still pleased with the results considering that the track is about 5800 ft above sea level.
R/T .264

1/8 7.493
MPH 95.70
1000 9.684
1/4 11.533
MPH 122.13
Altitude corrected for Bandimere (5800 ft above sea level)
11.122 @ 126.95 MPH
I'm running a built 2.3l stroker engine with an HKS 3240 at 26 psi of boost. We're cranking up the boost to 30 psi next week. I'm hoping to crack into the high 10's at altitude with this car.

Wow great times and great driving!!! I wonder if your car runs like a 11.3 or 11.4 at your altitude, but corrected it's in the 10s, will people *****? I think an altitude corrected time should be legit, I mean many people do it for their dyno numbers. But I see your trying to get 10s at your altitude, if you do that, then that is just amazing, good luck.
