I use a tripple plate exedy. everything else is stock. mr blistien struts and esplinger ( sp) spings are what i ride on.

Was the surging taken care of due to the porting?

No. it surged like a ***** all the time until the o2 dump went one.

Excuse my "newbie-ism" but ninja shifts refer to NLS, right? :confused

Kind of yes. We are talking about the logged times it takes me to shift while using evoscan and cant be done without NTLS. at least I CANT. Had to say that for those who are better than me.
thank you btw. Im trying fot that 10.

Thanks for the feedback. 10s on the stock VIII is ridiculous (in a good way). Makes me want to forget about purchasing any upgraded turbo. Oh yeah, I'm a fan of the NLS especially after I was E85-tuned before I blew my motor.

You can also try the ethanol content analyzer.

I think you mean NLTS = no lift to shift and i think he was saying he shifts very fast not that he was using NLTS. corect me if im wrong just what i got out of it.

ninja shifts are just fast shifts.

Try a clutch with a smaller polar moment of inertia and a heavy flywheel. It will allow the clutch to launch well and it will shift like butter.

Ninja shifts are faster than that. One minute you are alive and the next you are dead, your head tumbling to the ground in a dizzying tilt'o'whirl. Its so quick and so intense you'd puke if your head was still connected to your body.

It is that fast.

Seriously though, Billy made it sound like it had a dogbox in it last friday. Even Jeff was thoroughly impressed and he has a 1000whp auto after his dogbox.

i kind of do both. I sometime NTLS my 1-2 and 2-3 but most of the time only NTLS 1-2. It comes so fast i dont even have time to think . I never NTLS 3-4.

Aaron ( aka JB) . thank you for the kind words sir. I know we logged the shifts for fun one night, but dont recall how quick they were.
