We have been aware of Dave's current situation for a couple of weeks now. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Project DS9 has been a pet project for the entire team at STM, and we have all enjoyed the challenges and successes that it has brought. The project has involved our entire team in a way that goes well beyond the financial investment made by Dave, and having something like this cast a shadow over these achievements has hurt us all.

Obviously we have no control over how and where a customer makes their money and we are deeply saddened to learn of Dave's alleged involvement in illicit activities. Clearly this has no implications on STM. I would like to assure everyone that we are, and always will be a 100% legitimate business, and our only interest is making cars go fast.. really really fast!"

What happened to innocent until proven guilty, everything is hearsay until there is evidence. so you open your mouth... I have not seen any proof, Not that its anyones business anyway!!

If it is true then he should get everything he deserves but as for STM you cannot deny they are amazing...

 

SO TO CLARIFY...

Dave is a customer of STM...not an owner of STM. Dave just owns the car that they built for him. right?

 

Thats stink if its true. If the police auction off his car I want to buy it. That way it will continue to see the light of day. Bro keep us in the know.

 

Please make sure everyone understand this is STM in NZ not US Based STM.. Id hate to see our friends Emery and Crew @ STM US be mistaken..

I find it funny how people are trying to make a clear distinction between STM NZ and STM US now that there is a little bad press. This should have been clearly stated when the record was set.
