Strictly Modified HTA35R Evo 8: 10.1 @ 142 MPH

4/15/2010 Strictly Modified made it out to Great Lakes Dragaway for an event that we sponsor called RSD(Real Street Drags). This even brings "street racing" to the track where we cant get bothered by the police.. We brought a 2005 Evo 8 built and tuned by Strictly Modified powered by an HTA35R.

Mods list:
-SM 2.0
-SM Custom Transmission(Evo 8 Trans w/ Evo 9 1st)
-AEM EMS tuned by Devin Schultz @ SM
-Full Blown Dual pumper, FIC 1250cc injectors:110 Oct.
-Shearer Exhaust Mani, HTA35R, ETS Cat back
-AMS Race core
-Stance Coil overs
-Hoosier QTP
-Spark Tech COP

how much power is need it to trap 140mph? I have 340whp and trap 121mph

dont quote me, but I think 140 is in the 600 range on a mustang dyno, but then again that depends on the weight of the car?

Yes RSD is what Tuff organized.

The car was street tuned. It should be right around 600 HP, it will be on the dyno some time this week. I will post up a dyno graph once i get it.

I would love to come out sometime, but man is it a long haul from NY

600 on a mustang should trap high 140's at least, if not 150's. It all depends on the setup though.

What's done to the head?

On our MD 600-625 is right about where my car traps now 146.

I am going to hijack the thread , sorry

My car has 340whp and traps 120-121mph, about how much power my car needs to trap 140mph?

Mild port w/ upgraded valve train, w/ Buschur 272 Cam shafts.

600 ish seems to be the sweet spot for those traps.
