me and my buddy did my exed, pre run and post run, unfortunatley on the street not on the track..were going fri night ill have times sat morning...hit 19.8 psi stock tapered to 15,7 at redline....after exed........22.3 redline 20.1!!!!!! as i shifted you could feel the car launch as you slammed intot he next gear felt like a v8 ran unreal, was at 124 in 4th ont he highway absolutly ripping, i am in love with it and cant wait to add cam gears and have shiv retune when he comes to the east coast, redline moves to 7500 with gears, Shiv, honesly, thanks so much was worth the month wait, let me know when youll be abck in the area of New Englanmd or PA area.......thanks!!

 

I got all the same boost and jump in mine with Al. BUT didnt spend 950$, spent 450$. The money i saved i can buy CAMS!! Oh yea, and i didnt have to wait 6 weeks, just had to drive 2 hours. Thanks AL

same here but I spent $510 and drove 30 minutes for the P2. Can't wait to get cams

FWIW, Upgrade reflashes are for a nominal fee.

 

You could just switch over to the Light side, and tune it yourself with free software using the Xede. Then when you upgrade, you can tune it nominally without having to either get reflashed.

 

I see a lot of people slamming the xede & shiv.

I still havent decided which way to go the electronic mods, but a reflash cost about 500, then if & when you make another significant mod, you have to pay again. These guys arent going to do this for free. I dont know if any type of boost controller is necessary with a reflash, but if you do, that will cost you more. I would want a EBC so I dont have to worry to much about overboosting in various gears. That EBC comes in the xede. It sounds like a wash to me. But if your only requiring 1 reflash, it is less expensive. Yeah, the people that own these cars are only going to make a few mods??????????????

Soon I would think shiv & his boys should incorporate a/f logging via a WB O2 sensor, then you can log & remap you own car for city driving & have the xede control your a/f to some pre-dyno'd target a/f. It's very simple & should be the next step in their software.

I like the adaptability / tunability of the xede. However, I do hear a lot of complaing about shiv's stuff being late.

Then again, you hear a lot of complaining on this website.

the reflash is one and done, the xede you can tune and retune and retune with new parts. theres a big race sun at englishtown new jersey, both Al and Shiv are going to be there!!!!! i cant wait its gonna be awesome!!!! anyway i take the xede over any reflash any day of the week!!! see ya kiddies!
