1/8 mile track times

I just want some opinions on my track times from today. This was the first time I have raced the car and first time racing with a tree. I had a boost leak at the throttle body shaft seals. I didnt get them in time to fix it before the race. Here are my times.

1st run:
Reaction time- .971
60 ft time- 1.916
Trap MPH- 83.7
1/8 mile time- 8.590

2nd run:
Reaction time- .867
60 ft time- 1.791
trap MPH- 85.2
1/8 mile time- 8.300

3rd run:
Reaction time- .886
60 ft time- 1.843
trap MPH- 86.3
1/8 mile time- 8.344

Mods are 20G turbo, GSC S1 cams, PTE 680cc injectors, HKS intake, AMS licp, Muse uicp, Buschur TBE, megan 02 housing, walbro 255, Forge mbc, dynoflash mail in

Work on getting your 60' into the 1.6 range and you'll see good difference in your times. You also definitely get your boost leaks fixed.

yeah the shaft seals are on the way. I should have them in this week. Do you have any tips on getting a better 60 ft time?

As a comparison, on the stock 9 turbo and stock injectors, I went 7.1 @ 96 mph, so there is more to get from your setup for sure!

Yep. Practice, practice, practice. That's the only way you're going to find the sweet spot on your clutch. As a matter of fact, read this thread.....

Drop that down for sure. Pay attention to your trap speed. If it slows you down, you've gone too soft. 25 psi or lower is what I would do. No clutch dumps. Grip is quicker than slip.
