No Traction with almost stock Evo

Went to the track yesterday and couldn't get any traction with my almost stock Evo! Track conditions were 44 degrees, windy, with 60 percent relative humidity. I ran at Englishtown. The only mod on my car is the DynoFlash.

My first run, I slipped the clutch real quick at 5700 rpm and spun so hard I went sideways on the launch! I tried launching at lower rpms and lowering the tire pressure, but I still couldn't get traction. I even piled 4 other people into the car and tried a launch in the parking lot and still spun. These tires suck in low temps!

My only decent run:

60': 1.990
330': 5.631
1/8 8.680 @ 82 mph
1000' 11.372
1/4 13.601 @ 101.26 mph

the advan compound gets really hard in the cold weather, they tell you that in that video some of us watched at the dealer before getting our cars.. thats why they recommend you change tires in the winter... cause the advans dont get good traction

Yeah the tires do not heat up as easy in the colder weather.
I made 267 at the wheels after dynoflash and ran a 12.80@104
my last time out. Which I found weird I know another EVO making almost 330 at the wheels and he ran 12.50's.
I must have been making more than 267 that day.
I came out at 5000 RPM and quick shifted at 7500 RPM.
The car pulled all the way up thanks to dynoflash.
Some of the SQC Guys were there and MauroMotorsports ran a 12.8 with WRX too.

I lowered it to 24 all around. I was going to go to 21 all around, but I needed to drive home on those tires and didn't have a compressor with me.

Twan, I missed the Woodbridge meet and the Englishtown meet on the 16th! I wanted to go to Englishtown today too, but its raining pretty hard here in Jersey.

In completely unrelated news, I filled my car up with Sunoco Ultra 94 today for a trip up to Connecticut. I hit 20.5 psi with the better fuel, and the car felt a bit faster.
