drag racing is so much fun but confusing at the same time. i dont know. anyways. i went to the track again. i did good and bad. or maybe i dont know. anyways here is a run down.

new
60 foot 1.699
1/8 mph 107.46
1/4 mile 10.43
mph 134.30

old.
1.69
106.something
10.50
135.56
''i dont have the slip next to me.

anyways i seemed to pull the same ****ty 60 foot but i gained a MPH in the 1/8 but lost a MPH at the 1/4 mile. but ran 10.43 VS 10.50.......... how come? what am i doing wrong here. i had 4 passes. best 60 of the night was 1.63 and the worst wast 1.72. i had 22 psi in the tires and on my 1.699 i had 20 psi in the tires. i still did not NLTS. i wanted to try it but i didnt feel comfortable with how i was driving tonight.

330ft is where you picked up the .07. Must of had a better 1-2 shift. It's amazing how big a difference good 1-2 shift will do. I would say from 60ft. to 330ft. is one of the most critical points in drag racing. That is why it is so important to nail that 1-2 shift down just right.

Work on the 60ft. a bit and work on your 1-2shift and watch your times drop.

80% of your ET is gathered up in the 1st half of the track, from 1/8th mile on it's smooth sailing since your in 4th gear by then.

That's consistent man. I bet that if you loose like 200-300lbs with the usual parts, borrow some bfg's and pull of a lower 1.5, no lift shift, you might pull of 9's on pump with this power level. Very impressive considering your torque, response and spool.

But you know how I feel and I wouldn't risk a bad tank of gas(kaboom), or a bad launch and destroyed drive line and transfer case etc. I would rather blow up going for 150+ traps on E85 to shut up all the upper RPM Twin Scroll doubters like mysefl I'm rooting for you.
