Evodan2004 new pump gas record 10.50 135.56
new times and updates on post 63
well I went back to the track tonight to get some more seat time in. my last time out a few weeks ago I had 10.73 at 131.xx and a 1.80 60 foot. Today I went to work on my 60 foots and run one out, just got off the dyno that morning for a check up. no numbers at this time yet. sorry.
well I turned down my launch control(Which I have full control of on the fly through the vpro) from last time 6750 to 6500 and gave it a shot. I dropped some tire pressure to. my 1st pass was 11.000 at 90 mph ''hit the brakes to not get kicked out''. 1.71 60 foot. then I had a 12.4 with a 1.68 60. i dropped some more tire pressure and made another pass. i ripped a 1.599 60 foot. an all time best. BUT I did not run it out. I'm such an ***. I wish I did. So I got back in line and I said to my self, yea just do that again. HAHA not so easy. I ended up with a 1.68 60 foot. 10.50 on the dot at 135.56 mph. a 106.30 in the 1/8 mile. I am very happy with this. the car is dialing in very well. I do not have a video because I was in a rush to get to the track. so no vid. sorry. next up Better my 60 foots more, lower tire pressure more, and give NLTS a try. I would like to drop another .3 off my times. I would like 10.2s on a perfect pass on pump gas 93 octane but I dont know how long I want to keep running pump gas. I am going to give it another shot soon and go from there. after that I would like to add some race fuel.
I must thank Iveytune for the install and tuning of the engine management, I had him have his master techs install a 3.30 HKS VPRO on the car a few weeks ago along with a AFK controller. The car runs freaking awesome and still retains the stock ecu, so I can pass inspection. I am due in May so i will be making a post about that. The Vpro is pretty nice, full speed density and good driveability and power. As for the mods of the car a few of them are 'Ivey tune, full-race hta86 twin scroll setup, dog box built motor and drive train, BR double pumper cams exhaust, spark tech PRO cdi c.o.p. DI manifold, and much more. tires where nitto 555R. We put down well over 500 wheel HP on pump gas (How much more i wont say. ) HA
stay tuned for more to come.

haha I would imagine so..."excuse me sir, is your helmet snell certified to run 10.50s?....wait...you don't even have a cage???....get the fu*k outta here"....haha....
thanks EM.
well i brought my helmet i used last time. now this time they took it from me and told me its not SNELL approved. and the confiscated it. haha i had to rent one of there ****ty 1960s helmets. a paper bag would protect me more.
i want to note i drive this car day in and day out. has 67,XXX miles on it. no rain no winter. its never trailerd unless its broken. i drive to the track and i drive home. i take the girl out and get ice cream in it too. we sit at the picnic table and eat though. hahah
yeah they took my helmet too & made me rent that $5 crap but I got my helmet back at the end of the night...I hope they do the $10 race nights in july too as I won't be going back to the track till mid/late july...I need to do my brakes plus a Tial bov & retune, probably by Ivey, for some more boost...
no vids. i forgot my camera. i was in a rush and forgot camera and tools and other crap. i went to leave for the track and my freaking battery died. so i had to goto the local speed shop. get a new battery install it and go.
