Sweet, will the car look good with those low pros on the stock rims with stock suspension? Thanks again.

There were 1.5L mirages doing better than that stock I'd be pissed if this is what I can expect. Moving to Orlando and can't wait to get on a real track so I have a base time to work from.

anyone?

Oh BTW our cars are 500 pounds heavier and have 30 more HP. I had a mirage.
Hey WAD,
In O-town, eh? Find Geo and his crew of DSM'ers (I'm sure you can find his addy on the mirage board). Of course, there are a lot fierce competition for track time . . . you might get to have at most 2 runs for the whole night (what I've heard). BTW: the facilities are good compared to Bradenton, but not as good as G'ville or W. Palm.

That's about right for manual stock Lancer that I've seen.

The stock size is only 195/60-15, so yeah they'll fit. You'll accelerate, faster, but you'll lose some top end though. And your speedo will be out there. I can't think of a better bang for the buck tire out there. All the auto-xer's running street tires are running azenis. I'd get them but 225s will rub with the offset and spring combo my car has.

Don't worry I only want to run once or so. I want to experience it for myself but I am not going to make too much a habit of it. Here in Tallahassee right now there is no track so this will be an exciting experience for me. I went to a track in West Palm once and saw my dream car run. It was a black Supra and the guy had a bottle too. I don't remember how fast he ran but it was quick.

Anyway I can't wait. I'm sure I'll be one of the cars that looks like it is standing still off the line compared to the REAL racers but it'll be fun nonetheless.

I hope to run quicker than 17.8.

Carlos, he's going to O-town, and there is a track. Also, it runs at night.

Black Supra . . . there are plenty of them batting in the 12 sec range. A majority of them are out of O-town being sponsored. There is one has a plate: "R U Lucky" that's a good one.

Supra

The one I saw did not have a wing. I thought that was odd for a supra but it looked really nice. It seemed to be running as quick as some of the more real looking drag cars. It just didn't pop the wheelies off the line like they did, but it was right there until the end. I think it was close to being street driven because the interior still looked pretty stock.

I am all stock right now except for my airbox filter, which was replaced with a K&N airbox filter. That in itself made it sound better and have better response from 1500 on up to red line. I rev the engine up to around 4k where peek tourqe is at. The breaks barely keep the car stopped there and then right before the green light I let go and bam i'm gone. I ****ft right at 5900. I run anywhere from 16.3 to 16.8. But I am also in Ohio where the weather is cooler and very unpredictable and we race at night from 6-10 on wed. at National Trails Raceway in Kirkersville. Wed. I am getting a front strut bar, and new hoses from RRM and a CAI from injen on the group buy.

I ran a 16.84 1/4 mile time in my OZ. My car is still stock. Wanted to see my time before the CAI from Injen and custom exhaust system going on this coming week. Not real fast, but not to bad for a economical grocery getter.

This is some serious b/s. I've taken my lancer and my STOCK Z28 to Atco (1/4 mi track in NJ) and believe me, they are not even close to the same bracket. Stock, my Z ran 14.002. my lancer with small mods ran low 17's.
