This isnt the full slick but these fit with a minimum of mods-

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MTT-3743/

A little narrower than a 275-40-17 but a little taller.

That tire doesn't fit JohnBradley. I bought four of ET Streets in the 26x10.5x16's to run on my CCW's this year. My rear fenders are rolled flat and there is no way I was going to pull the front/roll the fronts and remove the inner fender lining to run them.

The 26x17 you posted John is 26.5" tall and has sidewall width of 11.10", that is not an easy fit and most guys are not going to want to do what it takes to squeeze them in.

The 26x16 I bought for reference was 25.9" tall and 10.3" on the sidewall and I was unwilling to do anything else to make them fit. I ended up putting the Hoosier QTP's, 26x8.5x16 back on.

Just adding this so nobody runs out and buys either of those tires to try.

Most def interested in this and thanks for the effort in helping us out

I pm'd ya and would like to see the 26x8 or 8.5" put into production.

As Dave said i don't see a need for a 28" tire for our Evo's.

By the way for those interested i used a calc using my specific trans gear ratios and going from a 26" to a 25.5" would require you to spin the motor another 300-400 rpm.

I could see the benefit of less weight from the 25.5" but imo if going to a 17" i'd prefer to have the extra little bit of sidewall with the 26"

I'd love to sell my Willwoods and 15's for something like this

Patrick, the 26" won't fit with stock struts, having them just a bit shorter will solve that and don't forget a tire like this has quite a bit of tire growth at high speed.
