I let the Mustang launch first as i was practicing my launching. This is a 2011 Shelby GT500 making 550hp and 505 ft/lbs. Although I didn't get into the tens all day but then again there was like a 30mph head wind and it was hot hot hot outside!

but wow, that drive back to the pits was like..10miles lol

 

Have to check my time slips for the ET. Wasn't that happy with my numbers - there was a 30 mph head wind and it was 82 degrees out - i was more concerned about getting my launch down with my taller tires and we were playing with the tune a bit. The best the car has done is a 10.7 at 133.

 

Nice run, I like how he jumps ahead like a ricer that was just spanked at the end. Back to the drawing board Shelby...

Oh thanks - it was actually breaking up in third and fourth on and off throughout the day, needs some tuning work. Were you the JMS evo that put down 711?
