Arrow 1st track time with the EV0

Well this passed friday was the 1st test and tune out at the local track. I made a few passes and my best times were a 13.77 @ 101mph and 13.78 @ 104mph. I was pleased with it but I know it can be way better. My 60' fts were slow at a 2.1 bc i have my rev limit set at 4k. I need to raise it up to get a better time! I havent got it tuned yet so hopefully with my mods and a tune I will break a 12.9 is what im going for!

do you have a break down of the slip...someone can prob give pointers... but you pretty much ran the same thing i did... i took my car straight from the dealer to the track. didn't even have plates on her yet.

but came to find out the tune was so bad..knocking like crazy.. just bad all over... so i'd suggest gettin that tune done first than enjoying her at the track

I would get rid of the safc and get a tune. With all those mods and no tune the car cant be very enjoyable to drive especially being slower than a stock evo

I went this passed weekend and ran a 13.3@108mph with a terrible 60ft time. Like a 2.1 aswell. Im in need of a tune bad so I'm going to get that done and attempt a mid to high 12s pass.

I actually bought the car with the SAFC in it. I mounted in the cubby hole under the radio. I use it to display knock, TPS, battery, and rev's. I thought about taking it out but its probably hard wired to the ECU and if that's the case I dont want to mess with it. But I have the tactrix cable 1.3u and evoscan so maybe I need to get a tune here in the next couple weeks?

Is it really running "that" bad?

a stock evo can run a 12.9 with a good driver but usually they are around 13.1-13.4

when you get the car tuned i would get it with the tephra v7 rom, you can have the car flash the check engine light if the car knocks past a certain threshold.

Is that ROM something I can download? I'm still new to the tactrix cable stuff. I used dsmlink in my 2g and it was completely different.
